Korey and I had gone shopping for "inspiration" back in May, that is when we spent 72 hours going crazy searching every furniture, home accessory, and department store to make sure we saw everything that was out there. For 2 long months the purchases have been piled along the floorboards and I am happy to say Korey will no longer be cursing and stubbing his toes! The painting was completed last weekend. Here, to remind you, are the before pictures

| Pier One, when telling Korey to buy this, I told him it would be the best investment of his life. Lol, and I said it in all seriousness. It wasn't until later that we collapsed laughing at how dramatic I can be. Well, I power vacuumed the fireplace, so we are even. |
| Trying to show you the soft glow of the sconces. It leaves a really cool reflection/flickering b/c the back of them are mirrors. |
| Don't worry- the lamp will be going!! But, for now it is the only light in the whole living room! Eeks, electrical challenges are not quick fixes. But, here is the picture wall I put together for Korey. It is crooked- we are working on it. |
| Z Gallerie painting & pillows that started it all. This used to be the TV wall. |
| Kitchen clocks!! |
| Spray painted chalkboard paint onto the wooden boards. They can be erased depending on if the clocks are changed. Yes, Korey put an Emily clock up that is 35 minutes behind... |
| These took us forever and caused our first "fight" Finding double rods that we liked was a challenge. Then, communicating about which part went "on top" or "outside v. inside" was a colossal failure- picture a "whose on first" but with no sleep, 6 hours of work to go, and no beer left in the frig. We persevered :-) |
| Clearance, non-refundable satin panels (color- ganache- yummy) and the white panels are from Ikea, and we used that stitching tape that irons on to get the measurements right. |
| Found these tie backs at JoAnn fabric |
| Tablescape, World Market |
| table!! Brand new, Craig's List, $515!!! Perfecto! |
