DIY Mosaic Table!!

I have been anticipating this project for about 2 months and I was so excited to begin! Overall it took about 2 days, but I need one more green tile from the store which is about 40 minutes away... so that task will come after my first job interview today :) Then I can lay the grout once the green fills in the very last gaps. I did every* step of this... with one exception, the tile cutting. Here goes the step by step!
This table was stained/painted by Cousin-in-law Paul, who couldn't believe I sanded away all his hard work. My first time using a hand sander. Kinda fun! But very stinky paint dust
Breaking up the tiles-- I separated my colors in shopping bags

Final table sanded
Centerpiece
Cutting the blue tiles in halves and thirds

The glue I used, it is $9 at Michael's and I used 3 tubes. Looking on the web on how to do this  people recommended putting the glue down and then spreading it out with a paintbrush. That method worked really well and I just did the table sections, by color, one quarter at a time.

FINISHED!!!
