Graduation Part 1

Saturday is what is called Class Day. The Fletcher School has its own special presentation of awards and speakers. Following is a lunch. We then had an open house with the gals. It was fun... more pics to come but here is what I have now :)

Lobster fest! (Clambake)

Fletcher kicks off its graduation weekend with a clambake tradition. The amount of seafood and spirits was quite impressive. The event was a perfect way to calm down after a week of hectic packing and last minute to-do's before the family and friends arrive. It was the first time I met many people's families. Always fun to see who belongs to who. Mom and dad arrived later Friday night.

Ready for the next big thing :)

It is easy to forget how exhausting transitions can be! Why I am surprised every time I have no idea- probably because our bodies are smarter than us and if we actually remembered how tiring it can be to move your life- we would never keep doing it! The folks and cousin Amy come in this weekend for 2 days of graduation pomp&circumstance and then we are off to explore Cape Cod and Rhode Island. In between now and next Thursday are too many good-byes to count, thank-you cards to write, clothes/books/everything to pack, loan counseling meetings, Fletcher Disorientation events :), a car check-up, and so much more. It will all get done. I am ready to enjoy the present, but also for my body to get to the other side so it can forget the hassle and emotions of moving. -- oh yeah and did i mention i have to sell my bed?!
