This beautiful rainbow appeared just between the mountains beyond my house last week. It was breathtaking. But, I was "re-committing" to exercising and was not going to let the ominous black clouds stand in my way of a jog. The guards at Concern told me, you know the rainbow blocks the rain, there will be no rain now. With that to ease my mind, I started off, and within seconds realized just how very foolish I had been. 40 minutes running in the rain was nice though-- it keeps people off the street and camoflages the sweat!! I was happy with my one day of running before stomach bug stopped me again. I am back in Kampala and the doctor says I am A-Ok. Probably had stomach infection that passed. He can tell from my tongue? Gross.
