After a few years of dating, a big move from DC to Lansing Michigan, and many many camping trips under their belts-- I am excited beyond belief to say that Joe and Christin are tying the knot!!! I couldn't be happier that Christin is joining the family officially. The past few years she has already been a member and this step for these two puts me at ease knowing she ain't going anywhere :) When Joe introduced me to Christin in D.C. back in 2010 when I was visiting for a career trip in grad school, I knew she was someone special. She never interrupts Joe (like I do), she is patient and kind, and genuinely interested in Joe's passions for the outdoors. Her commitment to Joe and his ambitious pursuit of a PhD touched us all when she decided she would embark on her own parallel adventure in Lansing. As Joe's "follower" (to borrow the Ugandan term) I have continued to be so appreciative of all that Christin brings to our family. I can't imagine the past years of memories without her! Us Nohner's are all counting our lucky stars that Joe and Christin are in it to win it :)

| I mean, come on! She flew up to cheer me on in the Boston Marathon! How great is that?! |
| She not only tackled baking an apple pie for the family . . . |
| She did it with this wacko in the kitchen! ;) |
| She swims and plays with our cousins as if they were her own :) |
| Completes the threesome of sisters- and was a great fun at Nick & Nicki's wedding, helping us with -- |
| getting the groom's dinner just right (and with the most adorable catch phrase around!) |
| You can bet we are thrilled to return the favor now that it is her turn! |
And most importantly, since the day they met- Joe has had this smile on his face. And THAT my friends, is what it's truly all about.
Love you both, can't wait to celebrate! Congratulations!!!! |
