Sunday Afternoon Hike to the Waterfall

Last Sunday I sucked it up and went for my first hike since being sick for so long. I did alright, and was happy that nobody pointed out that the only girl was sucking wind! But it was really nice. Walked from 3-6pm, about 7 miles and it was gorgeous. Passed through the fields of sorghum and maize, up a hill and to the waterfall then horizontally across the mountain front back into the valley as the sun set. With no gas at home, Cormac and I decided to try take-away from the hotel and it was really great. Showered up and enjoyed well-earned beans and rice on the couch and watched the last episode of House of Cards. Which by the way, is an AMAZING series. So good!
