Aunt Kathy sent me this book for my birthday and I loved it! It is an amazing book, the way I describe it is as a female-centric version of The Prophet. Anne Morrow Lindbergh wrote it in the 50's and then an epilogue in the 70s after many glass ceilings were broken and the women's movement took place. To me it still reads as relevant and completely spot-on. So many great kernels of wisdom. I also brought some art supplies from home last time in an attempt to try and have some more creative outlets out here. I think I can do a whole series inspired by the quotes of this book. Here is my first one. The hands are out of proportion but oh well. I had a bad day on the job so I took the afternoon off and painted this and by default meditated on the quote. It was nice. Then my gas for cooking went out . . . lol and my perspective was lost. But oh well, it is nice in the living room.
