Well, tis the season of love, and I do love Valentine's Day. I know some people hate the "Hallmark Holiday", but I for one love a day that celebrates love. Sure there is the cheesy saying, "everyday should be Valentine's Day." But- guess what, it's not. I mean, everyday isn't your Birthday party. In this tough world it is really special and unique to be able to pause and think about those people in your life that you L-O-V-E love love!
So, in honor of love and finding love I signed my single-self up for Match.com Turns out- it worked! Well, at least for one night. I had a wonderful date last night with a Wisconsin fella, 23 (young!), an engineer and musician who went to Marquette Prep High School and then Boston University.
We started at Fin's sushi, where we broke the ice with my failure to use chop sticks, and then moved on to a fabulous hole in the wall jazz bar called Wally's Cafe. He was a gentleman, and the night ended with a kiss on the cheek. Oh for cute ;)
this is the outfit I came up with after spending too much time babysitting one year olds this week. I was laughing at girls night about how I would say, "What to wear, what to wear, What does the cow say? Moo-cow, What do I wear..." lol.
