Well Christmas is over and our tree was beyond dead. It was tricky to tell that b/c it was still green, but after moving it outside it was clear that there was no life in that tree! Unfortunately Katrine and I decided to move it with the base (mistake #1) then I tilted it to get it down the stairs but I wasn't thinking clearly that obviously any water in the base would pour down the stairs- which it did, soaking me and the entire stairwell. It was like a waterfall. So Katrine and I grabbed a mop and it gave us the incentive to go ahead and mop the first floor :)
Oh yes, and I got bangs. Not sure how I feel about them, but whatevs- bangs happen :) (katrine is helping me model them)
