New Home!

This is going to be a brief update of the weekend b/c I am rushing to make it to the ice-breakers at orientation. Ok, not really rushing but I am going to try to be there on time. Day one went great, we had lots of information thrown at us, and I slept like a log last night. Classes start on Tuesday, but more on that later. For now, here are pictures of the room that dad and I spent 2 1/2 very full days working on.
Desk, with a painted table I got from Craig's list. Splurged on the Pier 1 chair

Got the bed from former student and friend, TJ Max lights and bedding

this is my "throw area" where I can do what I do best- throw clothes/bags/anything I have in my hands! Aunt Beth made this beautiful (and perfectly measured!) curtain which makes a nice division in my attic room.
Dad's proud closet organizer- took awhile to install (gotta love the DIY projects!) but it was def. worth the time and sweat!
no work needed here in my shared bathroom
or here, in the dining room

roommate Natalie and beau Jason watching Lifetime's finest Sunday film
the house, we are on the 2nd and 3rd floor

Anyways, I am very pleased with how the room came together, and more impressed with how much work it took. The next post I promise will be less on the decorating and more on the schooling :)
