A couple weekends ago I pushed forward with plans to make it to Sohoton National Park to see the natural caves just an hour and a half away from our house! I had to force myself to put work away, and avoid temptation to sleep the weekend away! I drove the car with Idalia, Anna, Emily and Moroto friends Wira and Silva to the small town where we got our tickets and boarded a small boat which was very very loud :) But we got to see the little villages backing up to the riverside. About 40 minutes into the ride we arrived at the caves. If it hadn't rained heavily the night before we could have gone onwards to a waterfall. But it was still fun to explore the cave. It was huge! Took about an hour to see all the formations-which our guide asked us to use our imaginations to see forms :) One was either "Buddha or a cupcake" :)
