So I am becoming an addict of Goupon and Living Social. They are brilliant ideas that were originally inspired by people wanting to explore their cities and take advantage of unique experiences that most people would not think are available in their neighborhood. Since moving to Phoenix for the in-between-stage-of-my-life I find myself constantly checking the websites. Not necessarily to "buy" (since that is a non option right now) but to see what pops up. It's fun to learn what is around, and potentially choose as an activity or meal.
Well, just when I thought Groupon couldn't become any cooler-- they came out with Groupon-NOW! At anytime of the day you can get quick coupons for a workout, treat, shopping discount, fun, or a meal. It is addicting to see what is available. So, log in, explore, and enjoy!!
Latest "finds"
- These cool places that are trampoline workout/activity spots have been popping up all over the U.S. It was conceptualized in CA as a place for adults to go and have fun, as well as kids. The entire place is a trampoline! They have tag, nerf gun wars, and dodgeball leagues! Turns out there are 2 places in Phoenix-- I am hoping to check it out soon! http://www.airworx.us/ and http://gotjump.com/
- Nothing 'Bundt' Cakes . . . will not forget these delicious gems!
Upcoming Events that we actually did purchase (can't wait!)
- Dinner for two at The Gelato Spot! Two (best rated ice cream in 2011!) scoops and 2 personal wood fired pizzas :)
- This Saturday, a night for 2 at The Comedy Spot (same place where Kate and I celebrated our bdays!)
- A night at Avant Garden at the Phoenix Desert Botanical Garden, we can choose any event, but I am pushing hard for the November Poetry night b/c it is a bit different.
