I MISS hearing this song at least 5 times a day for nearly 3 months. I was hoping that I would return to the states to find that the World Cup music had hit it big over here- but it seems it didn't catch on. I can't explain just how saturated the media outlets are with World Cup music in Uganda. It was contagious, beautiful, and fun. Here are my faves on repeat right now.
This song by Akon was an official World Cup song and it was also the Pepsi commercial. I heard this song at least 10 times a day because of the tv commericals.
