Yard changes

The deal was, if I got a job and was more permanent in Phoenix I could begin working on the yard. Korey rightfully is hesitant about me starting these big projects and then ditching him to finish my vision :) So, step one was to shovel all of the rock (and cat poop :( ) out of the back/side/and front yard. We are about 70% done? Next, we had to paint the cinder block wall creme and my new fave periwinkle. Korey was out for a week with the world's worst sinus infection, so I am proud to say I did a lot of the painting. Gotta say, it was a great stress release after work! Next Korey and I will get new rocks (see upcoming post) and I will continue with a couple art projects for the yard. More to come soon! Can't wait to get  home from work and try out our new porch chair that looks at the purple wall :)
my rock pile
Ok- it looks small, but it was a lot of shoveling/wheelbarrow dumping :)
Back wall gets its first dose of 'Purplicious'
Smiling already! Such a happy color
4 gallons later and still not done with first coat--it was soaking it up!
Creme- HOA requires all walls visible to public or external house (see the stucco) to be this wonderful creme ;) It will be the new home to a living wall (which will be framed in purple)
Where the chair is is where the new "garden" will be
Korey dug a little trench along the wall line so we could get low- but main my body hurt from crouching all along the wall to get that bottom layer!!!
Happy wall meets HOA wall. Wish I took a "before" photo of those trees - we cleared away about 70% of the branches and debris.
The long wall on the side of the house - Korey and I put the first coat on- went way faster than the purple. Second coat goes on this week. Sadly we have to do the whole crouch/ paint thing along the bottom as well
Front yard
This stucco wall will get repaired (ala Korey) and then I will paint it
