Friday night festivities

Midterms are OVER! thank god. this year was tough with in class exams (as opposed to take home essays.) so it was really great to relax with annika and jacqui, who made dinner and then we went to a wine tasting. bought some bottles for the after party. and then off to the Harvard Ballet Company fall performance. it was a spectacular show. so refreshing to see incredible dancing and step out from Fletcher. there was some great choreography to Iron&Wine. there was even a final number to a song by The Faint! Yay Omaha. After the show we were escorted by Harvard host extraordinaire Dahm. He went there for undergrad, and now serves as an advisor. this means he gets some fabulous digs. i didn't realize that at Harvard there are 12 houses. every undergrad is guaranteed on campus housing. and of course, every house has a story. dahm's place is gorgeous! dark wood, fireplace, huge windows. the fun continued with wine, dessert, and great conversation with new people.
