Global Voices Film Festival

Yesterday I took a break from my class project to swing through Harvard Square and see a film in the Global Voices Film Festival. I watched Soldiers of Peace, which is a film focusing on the unsung heroes working to build peace in their communities or society at large. I found that once I got past the stock footage from the late 80s early 90s and Michael Douglass' narration, that there was a lot to be learned from the stories these individuals shared. Check it out if you can! Here is a link to the trailer: Soldiers of Peace
