Last week I moved in to the yellow house! The very first house we saw when touring around Tacloban. We waited and waited for houses to appear back on the market. A lot of families are putting money back into their houses and renting them out for the next couple years to ex-pats knowing we will pay loads (which we are). I am thrilled to be in the house- It's all new! One week in and I can see life improving a thousand times. To be able to wake up with a clean shower, make my own coffee and watch TV has been great. Yesterday Holly and I sucked it up and went to the equivalent of Target for more things all day and then there was a great dinner at Holly's house (just down the street!) later that night. I made tortillas and fajita vegetables, etc. per usual :) It was like old times! And the perfect way to get to know my new ROOMMATE! She is fabulous-- Idalia, she will be the Grants Manager (thank God- we need her!) and small world, she just left Baltimore where she was living with my good friend from Fletcher Suzanne. Went for a jog at the track Friday, slept in Sunday, did yoga today- it's good to be in a home :)

Upstairs we have a "mother-in-laws" suite and a huge porch- perfect for yoga :)
We have a nice little block, and it's really just 1 square block, and then that's it :) Church nearby with bells in the morning
