As part of a new challenge, I have been instructed to try to work out (break a sweat) for 30 minutes 3x a week. This might seem easy, but I have been SUPER negligent about getting to the gym since moving home. And even before then, because you know I was busy :-) So, excuses aside. Tonight I am going to try this class. Sounds good right?

Showers and a Chuppah!
Last week I was able to attend my high school, softball pal Rachy's baby shower thrown by her mom. It was so great to see her since she and her hubby Dan live in Orlando. She FINALLY is showing and looks great. Baby girl is due in Nov!!
Then Saturday and Sunday I was honored to be invited to Ally Freeman's wedding. We grew up together on the old block, Cass St. When I was in DC I couldn't believe Ally, Lauren and I had all migrated to the city. It was great being there right when she was falling in love with her husband-to-be. The rehearsal dinner was thrown at the Anderson Art Gallery for all of the out of town guests. Since I was originally in AZ, I was invited :) It was wonderful. The next night the two had their ceremony at The Joslyn Art Museum. I haven't yet been to the sculpture garden, so it was cool to see that at dusk. The ceremony was gorgeous- the chuppah was in the middle of the new atrium, spaced between two Chihuly custom made pieces. With the sun setting, it was just beautiful. Afterwards guests proceeded to a cocktail hour on the veranda overlooking the sculpture garden and fountains. I wish I brought my camera, but I have snagged some from Facebook (have you ever seen a dress like this?!!!). The link to the museum gives you an idea of how other couples have used the space. Amazing!!

Mitchy's last Omaha weekend (until his next break)
Apologies for the delay in posting. I exceeded a new storage limit google has put on blogger. I went through a couple days pondering how important putting pics online is, especially because mine are oh so shotty :) But, alas I am paying. If and when there is a storage shortage I will cancel my blog :)
Mom had us go to the Downtown Farmer's market and zoo on Mitchy's last weekend in Omaha before we dropped him off at school in Chicago. He transferred from Gonzaga to Loyola Chicago--and it is awesome!
